An introductory sketch of the novel
PRIEST LAKE CATHEDRAL

Crowns of giant cedar and hemlock are the roof of a moist and shadowy realm seething with life and eternity. The Cathedral. Pools of water like mirrors scattered around the floor reflect even occasional tithes of sunshine. Arteries of liquid crystal snake through to feed Upper Priest Lake. Symphony of nighttime voices light up the Cathedral same as stars in a dark sky.

And the incredible energy...immensity of living mass concentrated in a system perfected over the ages radiates energy one might actually feel, like love.

Andra and Dharman are Washington State University students who fall in love at the Cathedral. Intimately bound to this pristine masterpiece, they discover a top-secret logging blitz planned for “God’s forest.”

The Cathedral embeds at the center of their lives.

Dharman masterminds a spectacular protest to engage the media toward elevating awareness and public decency into protecting the Cathedral. He and Andra risk their lives in what threatens to become a Pyrrhic generational war.
